Aside from athletics, I really enjoy being outside, journaling, lifting, and listening to music. I try to get outside as much as I can, even in the winter. I love going on walks and listening to either podcasts or music. I also journal about anything and everything, but mostly when something big happens, or if I'm stressed out.
I didn't get into weight lifting until this past summer when I decided to start training with my older brother. I quickly fell in love with it and it has become a huge part of my regular and athletic life. I enjoy activities that act as a "breather" for me. A little break from reality where I can really focus on myself and my goals. Walking, journaling, and lifting are all "breathers" for me.
All three of these breathers require something extremely important to me, which is music. I like almost all music except for EDM. Arguably controversial, but I truly do enjoy listening to country music. I like individual albums or songs rather than artists, but my favorite artist has to be Kendrick Lamar. I try to focus on bettering myself physically and mentally everyday to achieve a healthy lifestyle.
